Quotable Quote

" I bend to sweep crumbs and I bend to wipe vomit and I bend to pick up
little ones and wipe away tears... And at the end of these days I bend next to
the bed and I ask only that I could bend more, bend lower. Because I serve a
Savior who came to be a servant. He lived bent low. And bent down here is where I see His face. And people say, “Don’t you get tired?” and yes, I do. But I’m face to face with Jesus in the dirt, and the more I bend the harder and better and fuller this life gets. And sure, we are tired, but oh we are happy. Because bent down low is where we find fullness
of Joy.” ― Katie J.Davis

November 2010

Most of you have seen these pictures but I thought I would include them for journaling purposes. I love looking at these pictures. It reminds me of how much my beautiful children have changed and evolved over time, and how my relationship with them continues to change and evolve as they grow. It is so amazing to be a mother. I am honored to be one and am counting my wonderful blessings this Thanksgiving. Did I mention my great husband who let me sleep in Saturday and Sunday and made me breakfast both mornings. I am blessed. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

So these are

my beautiful kids! Am I proud? Yes I am! More pics to come, but I just thought I'd update my blog for once. Life is settling down a bit since our move back to our homeland. Gracie loves first grade now. Surprise! Her teacher is Ms. Nash and she loves being back with her old friends. Ava and Gracie are both in gymnastics again, which they just love! Breck has spent his time following Ryan around for every project he has undertaken, including trying to finish the girls room down stairs. He is a miniature Ryan and it is just too cute! Baby Jesse is either smiling or sleeping, and I am just trying to finish up my schooling, keep the house somewhat orderly, keep my addiction to food under control and get on the treadmill as often as I can.

The highlight of my month was heading to the Cheesecake Factory last night with a group of our friends. 6 couples and LOTS of laughing. It was so nice to just get out. Did I mention I had to bring the baby since we are attached at the.....well.....hip? But he is so great I didn't hear a peep from him all night!
