Quotable Quote

" I bend to sweep crumbs and I bend to wipe vomit and I bend to pick up
little ones and wipe away tears... And at the end of these days I bend next to
the bed and I ask only that I could bend more, bend lower. Because I serve a
Savior who came to be a servant. He lived bent low. And bent down here is where I see His face. And people say, “Don’t you get tired?” and yes, I do. But I’m face to face with Jesus in the dirt, and the more I bend the harder and better and fuller this life gets. And sure, we are tired, but oh we are happy. Because bent down low is where we find fullness
of Joy.” ― Katie J.Davis

Seaside Oregon Part 1

We had the opportunity to go up to Seaside, Oregon again this year with the girls and my mom. We went in late July.We met my Aunt Vicki and her granddaughter Haylee there. They are from Kelso, Washington. We had such a great time. We spent lots of time shopping, swimming, and laughing ourselves silly at the condo. These memories are such gifts from God. I cherish every one!

Feeling a little goofy up this early in the morning.

We spent a couple hours at the Tillamook Cheese Factory in Tillamook Oregon. Love that town!

Pioneer Day (July 24th 2014)

I have no memory of ever celebrating "pioneer day" but this year we had a fantastic time with Ashley and her kids. We went to Mapleton and enjoyed the fireworks show. They had a band there that was really fun, and a helicopter that dropped ping pong balls that you could win prizes with.  We had a wonderful time! Loved it!

Splash Pads Galore

I am starting to really fall behind on my blog so I better start from where I left off. Splash pads were a BIG part of our HOT Utah summer! What a joy for me to sit under the shade of a tree and hope that my kids don't get stolen or drowned in an inch of water while I surf the internet, read a book, or chat with friends. Next year we may expand our horizons and go to a few pads we haven't checked out yet! Want to join us?

How do you like my clever glove to cover Tegan's cast? No reason I can't be ghetto at the splash pad!

Tree huggers

Maybe if we water Tegan he will actually GROW!
