Quotable Quote
" I bend to sweep crumbs and I bend to wipe vomit and I bend to pick up
little ones and wipe away tears... And at the end of these days I bend next to
the bed and I ask only that I could bend more, bend lower. Because I serve a
Savior who came to be a servant. He lived bent low. And bent down here is where I see His face. And people say, “Don’t you get tired?” and yes, I do. But I’m face to face with Jesus in the dirt, and the more I bend the harder and better and fuller this life gets. And sure, we are tired, but oh we are happy. Because bent down low is where we find fullness
of Joy.” ― Katie J.Davis

Christmas
So I left my camera down at Annie's for Christmas morning. Everything went well. I stuck to my guns of not getting the kids very much and I'm glad. They were happy with what they got. The pics below are of the Shepherd family Christmas party that took place on Dec 11th. It is at Ryan's sister's house, which is big and beautiful. They had probably 20 trees lit up in the front yard. It was quite the sight.

So true about the girls personality
showing up in the santa pics. That is SO funny about Breck...of course
he is not used to seeing an old bearded geezer in a velvet suit..how else would he act?!!!!
Aww cute photos!! I think it's good to not go overboard on Christmas presents like some parents do. Why set an expectation for yourself to keep beating? Sounds like you guys had a good time at the party :)
Thanks for pulling over to say hi the other day, it was so nice seeing you guys!
And tell Ava that the card she sent to Grandma P pretty much made her Christmas. She has it on her coffee table and she LOVES it. She's shown it to anyone that walks through the door.
