No big deal. No cute pictures or exciting news. I just wanted to let you know I am alive. I thought I'd tell you something cute/funny/sweet the kids have done this week.
Gracie: After throwing a fit about folding and putting away her pajamas, and I after I reminded her that she never folds and puts mine away so why should I fold and put hers away, she writes me a note with a picture that says "Mommy sore for beeg disreseptol" (sorry for being disrespectful).
Ava: I think Ava really wants to go to school because after dropping Gracie off at Kindergarten Ava says "Mom my life is falling apart!"
Breck: Gracie was sitting on the floor crying because she had a loose tooth that she was freaked out about and Breck crouches down by her and says "Darn it! Darn it!" and then gave her a hug.
Quotable Quote
" I bend to sweep crumbs and I bend to wipe vomit and I bend to pick up
little ones and wipe away tears... And at the end of these days I bend next to
the bed and I ask only that I could bend more, bend lower. Because I serve a
Savior who came to be a servant. He lived bent low. And bent down here is where I see His face. And people say, “Don’t you get tired?” and yes, I do. But I’m face to face with Jesus in the dirt, and the more I bend the harder and better and fuller this life gets. And sure, we are tired, but oh we are happy. Because bent down low is where we find fullness
of Joy.” ― Katie J.Davis

Your kids are so cute! It was good to see you at Christmas!
So important to record those adorable moments - I need to do better. I always think I am going to start a little journal for my children... but thus far - I've got nothin' -
That is so cute!
Kids say the cutest things! Well,
maybe not always, like when they
are in church and jump up and yell
a word for all to hear. Too much to
explain here, but maybe Rach will confess about the Sunday that she embarrassed her family...Love, mom
oh they are so dang cute I miss them...
I love hearing the funny things kids say!! Breck (and the girls of course) are such sweethearts.
Me, Kevin and Aspen were waiting in Ashley's car while she ran into the store the other day, and Aspen leans towards Kevin and goes, "Hey Heaven (she can't pronounce the K), give me a kiss!" Then she made him give her five more kisses before we left.
Kids are so funny! I hope you write these things down so they'll always have that to look back on.
