Quotable Quote

" I bend to sweep crumbs and I bend to wipe vomit and I bend to pick up
little ones and wipe away tears... And at the end of these days I bend next to
the bed and I ask only that I could bend more, bend lower. Because I serve a
Savior who came to be a servant. He lived bent low. And bent down here is where I see His face. And people say, “Don’t you get tired?” and yes, I do. But I’m face to face with Jesus in the dirt, and the more I bend the harder and better and fuller this life gets. And sure, we are tired, but oh we are happy. Because bent down low is where we find fullness
of Joy.” ― Katie J.Davis

Pizza Party

My flashback Fridays have been slipping, but I do have things current to blog about. Yesterday we had a pizza party for the girls. When I say "we" I mean me. I had Ryan take Breck and leave, so Breck wouldn't be in the way. I let the girls invite 2 friends each from school. Invitation below is my "edited" version (i,e no address or phone number for all the weirdos online)
Ya, I know, I know pics of other people's kids on my blog, but the pic's not that clear so it's justified. Friends L-R Paige, Ayslind, Sidney, and Cyana.
They got in teams and we played a few fun games. Stuffing as many balloons in daddy's shirt as possible. Popping balloons with pens and then eating the gummy bears out of it, before running back to your team. These games were simple and cute and the kids LOVED them! I let them pick prizes for playing (not winning) or Ava's team wouldn't have gotten anything.
Not sure why some of the girls chose to have no cheese! I thought my kids were weird!

You are such a fun mom! No cheese is totally weird. I would rather have cheese than sauce. And I'm so mad I can't see the cute invitation you did on this stupid laptop. My computer is officially dead. Dang computers!

I remember Melanie having Jesse order a pizza with no cheese for her at our house. Ryan's like "Do they even know how to make a pizza with no cheese?" He made fun of her for like 20 minutes! lol.

What a fun party! I LOVE biscuit pizzas! They're so easy to make. We used to make them all the time.

And yes, no cheese is definitely weird. And I thought I was picky!
